Beep Tone
If you activate this menu item, the first station within your channel list will be marked with
a beep.
Set Announcement
Here you can activate various information shown in the display (e.g. sport news) which
are provided from stations in the DAB+ mode.

Firmware Update

An essential part of our corporate philosophy is the constant improvement of our devices.
For this reason you can do an update (when available on www.noxonradio.de) with the
help of the USB port.
Preparation
Please visit the following website:
www.noxonradio.de
and choose the NOXON dRadio 1 as your product.
Download the latest firmware and unpack it into the main directory of your USB stick
(not into a subfolder). It is also important that the USB stick is formatted in FAT32 format.
Other formats are not supported by the Radio.
It is possible that the device is automatically reset to its factory settings on a firmware
update. This means your individual settings will get lost. We apologize for this, but this is
partly necessary to really update the full functionality of the device.
Flash process
1. Turn off the device with the power switch on the rear panel (do not switch the device
into standby).
2. Insert the prepared USB stick into the USB port on the rear panel.
3. Press the back button, keep holding it down, and then turn on the device.
4. A progress bar will display the flash process now.
This process should not be interrupted under any circumstances. Do not power
off the device or unplug the USB stick during the update process since this would
irreversible destroy the device.
