SAFETY AND SET-UP _______________________
Please read this instruction manual thoroughly
before using this appliance. Follow all the safety
instructions to avoid damage caused by improper
use.
Keep this instruction manual for future reference.
Should this appliance be given to a third party,
then the instruction manual must also be handed
over.
Use the vacuum for its intended purpose only.
The vacuum is intended for household use only.
Only use the vacuum indoors. Do not use the
acuum in the bathroom or outside.
Never touch the power adapter with moist or
wet hands.
Warning – life threatening! Never
submerge the motor unit, the power adapter or
the power cable in water or other liquids during
cleaning or operation. Never hold the motor
unit under running water or any other liquid.
Should the unit happen to fall into water, unplug
the power adapter immediately if connected to
the power supply and have the unit examined
by an expert before further use.
No liability can be assumed for possible
damages that may have been caused by
incorrect usage or mishandling of the device.
Danger of suffocation! Keep all packaging
materials away from children, especially small
children.
Dispose of the packaging materials properly.
Please contact your local authority in regard to
disposal and recycling in your area.
Remove the protective foils and packaging
material before use.
Clean all components before use.
Before initial usage make sure the mains voltage
and current match the information on the rating
label of the appliance.
For additional safety, connect the unit to a
residual current device, with a value of no more
than 30 mA, for household installations. Ask
your electrician for advice if needed.
Use only the original components or those
recommended by the manufacturer. Using
components from other companies or non-
original replacement parts can lead to fire,
electric shock or other accidents.

The appliance should not be used by the
following persons, including children: those
with limited physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or those with a lack of experience
and knowledge. This does not apply to the
latter if they were instructed in the use of the
appliance or if they use it under the supervision
of a person responsible for their safety. Children
should always be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
Risk of electric shock! Never attempt to repair
the vacuum yourself. The vacuum should only be
repaired by a qualified expert if it malfunctions.
Do not place the unit on hotplates (gas, electric,
coal stove, etc). Keep the appliance away from
all hot surfaces.
Do not open the vacuum itself under any
circumstances.
Should the unit have been damaged in any
way, does not function properly or has been
dropped, have it examined by an expert before
using again. Do not repair it yourself, as
you run the risk of an electric shock!
Do not operate the unit with moist hands or if
standing on a wet floor.
Dry the appliance and all accessories before
connecting to the power supply and attaching
the accessories.
