9.1 Replacing the 9V storage battery
WARNING! Danger of electric shock
Pull out the mains plug before opening the equipment.
• Undo the 4 screws on the bottom of the housing and remove the top of the
housing.
• Remove the worn storage battery from the connecting clip and replace by a new
charged storage battery. Make sure the polarity is correct.
NOTE: only use rechargeable 9V storage batteries.

• Close the housing cover and tighten the screws.
• Check the function by raising the float switch.
• Dispose of the worn storage battery in a responsible manner.
10 Faults, causes and remedies
If the fault cannot be remedied, please get in touch with a local technician or
your nearest Wilo customer service point or agent.
11 Spare parts
Spare parts may be ordered through local professional technicians and/or Wilo
Customer Service.
To avoid queries and order errors, all data on the rating plate must be given
along with every order.
