WARNING
This term and font are used where there is a risk of dangerous situations that might
result in severe injury or death.
CAUTION
This term and font are used where there is a risk of dangerous situations that might
result in slight injury or material losses.
This symbol is used where there is a risk of injury or damage to the system through
non-observance of instructions.
This symbol is used where there is a risk of burning/scalding by touching hot surfaces
or liquids.
This symbol is used where there is a risk of injury from falling.
This symbol is used where there is a risk of injury from falling objects.
This product complies with the state of the art and recognised safety regulations.
Nevertheless, risks could emanate from this product.
For example, risks could be created by collector components getting very hot during
operation and through solar irradiation (risk of burning when touching). Additional
risks could result from breaking glass (cuts), escaping liquid and steam (scalding)
or, during work on the roof, such as installation, tube replacement and dismantling
(fall).
Only install, commission and operate vacuum tube collectors that are in perfect
condition and under observance of these instructions. These collectors must only be
used for the purpose described.
When using them for other purposes (misuse), personal risks and collector damage
could result. A misuse would be, for example, filling the collector with materials other
than the approved heat transfer medium or the installation on insufficiently stable
substrates.
Modifications and conversions not described in these instructions are not
permissible.
The vacuum tube collectors are exclusively designed for portrait installation on the
rooftop.
Install and operate the vacuum tube collectors in accordance with recognised technical
rules. During the installation, closely observe the respective national regulations
concerning health & safety at work and all accident prevention legislation. This applies
particularly to work on roofs.
