• Keep the device away from strong magnetic fields
Never place the camera too close to appliances
which generate strong electromagnetic fields, such
as electric motors. Strong electromagnetic fields
may result in camera malfunctions or corrupt data
recordings.
• Avoid excessive heat
Do not use or store the camera in sunlight or at
high temperatures. Stress of this kind can result in
battery leakage or cause the casing to warp.
• Avoid extreme fluctuations in temperature
If you take the camera from a cold environment
into a warm one, or vice versa, condensation can
form outside and inside the camera which can
cause malfunctions and damage the camera. Wait
until the camera has reached room temperature
before switching it on. Using a carrying case or
plastic case offers a certain amount of protection
against fluctuations in temperature.
