Do not use a socket board or a multi socket when using 220–240 V/50 Hz
alternate current (AC). All electrical connections which may be damaged
must be repaired by a qualified professional.
All repairs should be performed by your authorized after sales service.
1. Unpack the appliance carefully. Dispose of the packaging as described in
chapter Waste Management.
2. Completely remove the transport-protection. Be very careful and do not use any
aggressive or abrasive detergents to remove residuals of the transport-
protection.
3. The appliance must be properly vented.
a. Minimum distance of the back and sides of the appliance to a wall and
kitchen furniture = 20mm.
b. Minimum distance of the top of the appliance to the ceiling = 30 mm.
4. Install the appliance in a suitable position with an adequate distance from
sources of heat and cold.
5. Check, if the appliance and the power cord are not damaged.
6. Connect the appliance to a dedicated socket only.
NOTICE!
7. Install the appliance in a dry and well-ventilated place.
8. Protect the appliance from direct sunlight.
9. Do not install the appliance near sources of heat as radiators, ovens etc.
10. Do not install the appliance in a place where it may come in contact with water
or rain; otherwise the insulation of the electrical system will be damaged.
