6.6. FM Display Information

When listening to an FM station you can change the information that will appear on the second line
of the display. Repeatedly press and release the Menu/Info button to cycle through the different
information options.
Radiotext (RT) - This is scrolling text information supplied by the broadcaster. Information could
be the name of an artist or music title, DJ's name, contact details for the radio station etc.
Program Type (PTY) - Such as 'Rock', 'Pop', Talk' or 'News'
Station name or frequency - Such as WDR2 or 93.30MHz
Audio mode – Mono or Stereo
Time and date - supplied by the broadcaster.

7. Alarm Settings

7.1. Setting the Alarm

NOTE: Check that the radio has the correct time and date before you set an alarm.
1. Press the Alarm button.
2. Select between Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 and confirm with OK.
Now you can set the following alarm options:
Alarm: alarm on or off.
Frequency: choose between Daily, Once, Weekdays or Weekends.
Wake up time: here you can set the time at which the alarm starts. In case you selected Once
in the Frequency settings you also have to specify the date.
Source: Buzzer, Digital Radio or FM Radio.
Preset: if you selected Digital Radio or FM Radio as source you can choose between Last lis-
tened and any of your favourite stations.
Duration: specifies the duration in minutes for which the alarm sounds.
Volume: select the desired alarm volume. The alarm volume is increasing progressively up to
the selected level.
Once the alarm is set correctly the alarm symbol is indicated in the display.

7.2. Stop the Alarm

When the alarm sounds, press the Standby button, Alarm off is displayed. In order to postpone the
alarm, you can press the Snooze button (see Snooze function below).
NOTE: If you press the Standby button to stop the alarm, the alarm symbol will remain in the display
and the alarm will sound again at the next set time, unless it was set for 'Once' only.

7.3. Snooze

When the alarm sounds you can press the Snooze button. There are 4 Snooze time options avail-
able: 5, 10, 15 and 30 minutes.
1. Press the Snooze button once to snooze for 5 minutes.
2. Repeatedly press the Snooze button to choose from 10, 15 or 30 minutes. Stop when the de-
sired Snooze time is displayed.
3. Your radio will now display the snooze time countdown until the alarm sounds again.

8. System Settings

In order to enter the system settings, please follow this procedure:
1. Press and hold the Menu/Info button to enter the menu.
2. Select <System> and confirm with OK.
