9. FM radio mode

The bar icon in the centre of the screen shows strength of the
FM signal received by the device.

9.1. FM station search

Press and hold down the button for approx. 2 seconds to
search for the next available FM station.

9.2. Setting the FM frequency manually

Press the scan button briefly to set an FM frequency
manually. Use the rotary knob to change the frequency in 0.05 MHz steps.

9.3. Saving / recalling a favorite stations

If you want to save the current DAB+ station as a favorite, press and hold one of the favorite
buttons 1-5 for about 2 seconds.
To recall a favorite later, simply press the corresponding favorite button on the radio briefly.
Alternatively, select a station via the FAVORITES menu (see chapter "7.1. Favorite list").

10. Wireless music streaming (Bluetooth)

A Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone can be used for wireless
playback of any audio content. For this purpose, you need to
activate the "Bluetooth" mode by pressing the BT button. Once
this is done, search for "ALBRECHT DR 86" on your mobile
device. For more details about operation of your mobile phone,
please refer to the device's manual.

11. Headphone

Connect a pair of headphones to the 3.5mm headphone socket on the right side of the radio. It is
recommended to turn down the volume before connecting.

12. Integrated battery

The Albrecht DR 86 radio has an integrated rechargable battery. With a fully charged battery, the
operation time is approximately 7 hours. The symbol in the right center of the display shows the
current charging level of the battery.
When you connect the radio to a power source, the battery is automatically charged. During
charging, the charging LED on the right side of the radio lights up red. The LED turns green when
fully charged.
