2. INTRODUCTION

Congratulations on purchasing an ABX-3 for the FOHHN
AIREA System. Nowadays, the requirements for sound qua-
lity and flexibility have increased enormously. In response to
demands for high quality, easy-to-use AIREA System inter-
faces we have developed the ABX-3. The unit is designed to
considerably ease your workload at events, or during fixed in-
stallation commissioning. Its compact, robust structure makes
it an ideal space-saving solution, while its compatibility with
AIREA System devices guarantees additional flexibility du-
ring day-to-day operation.

2.1
MANUAL
The following instructions describe both the functionali-
ty and potential applications for the AIREA BREAK OUT
EXTENSION (or ABX-3 for short).
It is aimed at system technicians, users and anyone else in-
volved in setting up, operating and dismantling the system.

2.2 SCOPE OF SUPPLY

All FOHHN products are constructed by qualified engi-

neers. During the build process, current safety regulati-
ons are always kept in mind. Each product is thoroughly
tested before leaving the factory.
Please examine your new product carefully for any signs
of damage that may have occurred during transporta-
tion and, if necessary, inform your dealer and the trans-
port company immediately.
Please also check that the packaging includes all the va-
rious components belonging to the product.
This product contains the following components:
1 x ABX-3
If anything is missing, please contact your FOHHN
dealer immediately.

2.3 UNPACKING THE PRODUCT

When unpacking this product, we recommend proceeding
as follows to avoid any potential damage:
1. Open the packaging and take out the product.
2. Examine the product carefully for any signs of dam-
age during transportation. If the product appears to be
damaged, please notify the transport company imme-
diately. Recompense for damage during transportation
can only be claimed by the recipient i.e. you. Retain the
packaging for examination by the transport company.
3. We recommend keeping the packaging in any case, as
products should never be returned without their origi-
nal packaging. If the product does need to be returned,
it should be re-packaged in the same way that it was
received from the factory.
