Removing / Inserting Battery
CAUTION!
■ The device must not be connected to the mains power while the battery is being
removed / inserted.
■ You should never open the battery pack!
To remove the battery from the device, please proceed as follows:
• Undo the four screws on the shaft holder of the cleaning foot and remove the battery
compartment cover.
• Pull out the battery pack and release the plug connection by pressing on the locking
lug.
• Dispose of the battery in accordance with the statutory regulations governing the
disposal of batteries.
• If you want to insert a new battery into the device, attach the connectors and insert it
into the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment cover and tighten the
two screws.
