Mounting instruction
See Figure 1.
The MFS filter unit must always be mounted vertically.
1.
Ensure that the surface, on which to mount the MFS filter unit, is level and
use the wall bracket to mark the holes. Use vibration secured fixing bolts
and nuts suitable for the wall material. The bolts must each stand a torque
force of minimum 2000 N.

Mount a fume extractor arm.
3.
Mount a fan or adapter.
4.
The filter cartridge must be fitted in the correct position. It is marked with
arrows which is to be directed in the direction of airflow. Fold the seals
over the flange edges according to Figure 1, item A.
H = recommended mounting height from floor, see Figure 4.
WARNING!
See Figure 2. Mount the enclosed guard net on the fan outlet (not necessary if
the fan is used for fixed mounting and is directly connected to ducting system).

Using MFS
The MFS filter unit is primarily designed for filtration of welding fumes but
can also be used for grinding, dust and so on.
MFS with Carbon/Gas filter is designed for extraction and filtration of odours
and vapours from non-toxic smelling solvents in moderate concentrations.

• Do not use the MFS filter for extracting toxic substances.
• Do not use the MFS filter for inflammable dust or explosive gases.
• MFS with Carbon/Gas filter must not be used for dust or welding fumes.
• MFS with Carbon/Gas filter must not be used for extracting odourless
substances.
