Operation

This model SPARKY power tools is supplied from single-
phase alternating current mains. It is double insulated ac-
cording to EN 60745-1, IEC 60745 and can be connected to
grounded or not grounded sockets. This power tool is radio
suppressed in compliance with EMC Directive.
PRIOR TO INITIAL OPERATION
▪ Make sure power supply voltage corresponds to the
value indicated on the name plate with technical data of
the tool.
▪ Always check the position of ON/OFF switch. The power
tool must be connected to the power supply socket only
when this switch is in OFF position. If the plug is connect-
ed to a receptacle while the power switch is in the ON
position, the power tool will start operating immediately,
which could cause a serious accident.
▪ Make sure the cord and the plug are in order. If the re-
placement of the supply cord is necessary, this has to be
done by the manufacturer or his agent in order to avoid a
safety hazard.
WARNING: Always be sure that the tool is
switched off and unplugged before adjusting or check-
ing function on the tool.
Fit the screw on the point of the bit and place the point
of the screw on the surface of the work piece to be fas-
tened. Apply pressure to the tool and start it. Withdraw
the tool as soon as the clutch cuts in. Then release the
switch trigger. (Fig. 1)
WARNING: When fitting the screw onto the
point of the bit, be careful not to push in on the screw.
If the screw is pushed in, the clutch will engage and
the screw will rotate suddenly. This could damage a
work piece or cause an injury. Make sure that the bit is
inserted straight in the screw head, or the screw and/
or bit may be damaged.
