Setting up the instrument

Unpack the shipping carton and verify that you have
received all the items listed on the checklist. If any item
is missing, contact your local distributor.
Place the instrument on a flat, even surface that is:
Χ As far as possible from any strong electric or
magnetic fields and from any electrical device that
may generate high-frequency fields
Χ Free of dust, corrosive gases and strong vibrations
Remove any obstructions or materials that could hinder
the flow of air under, behind and around the instrument.
Connect the female end of the power cord into the A/C
power connector on the back of the instrument.
Plug the power cord into a grounded outlet with the
appropriate voltage.
Turn the power switch to ON (∗=ON, ±=OFF).
Preparando el instrumento
Desempaque el instrumento y verifique que ha recibido
todos los items que figuran en la lista de empaque. Si
faltara algo póngase en contacto con su distribuidor
local.
Ubique el instrumento sobre una superficie plana que
esta:
Χ Tan lejos como sea posible de cualquier campo
eléctrico o magnético y de cualquier dispositivo
eléctrico que pueda generar campos de alta
frecuencia
Χ Libre de polvo, gases corrosivos y fuertes
vibraciones
Remueva cualquier material que puedan obstruir el
flujo de aire por debajo, detrás o alrededor del
instrumento.
Conecte el terminal hembra del cable de poder al
conector en la parte posterior del instrumento.
Conecte el cable de poder a un enchufe con descarga a
tierra con el voltaje apropiado.
Oprima la tecla de encendido a ON (∗=ENCENDIDO,
±=APAGADO).
