• Check before connection to the mains supply whether the values stated on the rating plates of the device
and mains adapter match your household power supply.
• The electrical outlets must be in the proximity of both the device and the mains adapter and be easily
accessible.
• Never unplug the mains plug from the socket by pulling on the cable. Always use the grips on the sides
of the plug.
• Unplug the product from the main for extended periods of disuse (e.g. in case of storage) or before
cleaning the mains plug or mains adapter.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the mains adapter or mains plug from the mains socket during storms.
• Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or subjected to
mechanical stress. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable from extreme heat or cold. Do
not modify the mains cable. Otherwise the mains cable may be damaged. Damaged mains cables can
cause a fatal electric shock.
• Do not touch the mains cable if there are any signs of damage. Power down the respective mains socket

the mains socket. Never use the product if the mains cable or mains adapter are damaged. Replace
defective mains cables or mains adapters with identical components only.
• Never connect or disconnect mains plugs or mains adapters with wet hands.

• The product is only voltage-free when the mains plug is pulled.

d) Battery (remote control)

• Ensure that the battery is inserted in the correct polarity.
• Remove the battery if you are not going to use the remote control for a prolonged period to prevent
damage from battery leakage. Leaking or damaged batteries may cause acid burns when they come into
contact with skin. Always use protective gloves when handling damaged batteries.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Do not leave rechargeable batteries lying around, as they
constitute a choking hazard for children and pets.
• Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire. Never recharge non-rechargeable
batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
