• Speakers naturally have a strong magnetic field. Therefore, please do not place
debit or credit cards or other magnetic storage devices on your speakers. The
stored data may be damaged.
To achieve optimum sound results, different set-ups usually need to be tried and
tested. As the room has a significant impact on playback, we are providing you with
the following tips for positioning your Saxx speakers.
Main Speaker (Front)
The placement of speakers in your listening room has a significant influence on
their sound. Set-up close to the corners of the room basically produces a noisy, but
uncontoured bass reproduction. On the other hand, speakers that are completely
freestanding sound accurate, but also quite bright and lean. It is best to place the
speakers so that about 30 cm clearance remains between the rear panels and the
closest wall. The distance from side panels should exceed 50 cm to avoid loud wall
reflections. The shelf speakers sound best on a speaker stand or shelf, the tweeter
should be aimed at ear level.
The distance between the speakers to the listening position should be as equal as
possible, while the distance of the speakers from each other may be quite a bit
less than the distance to the listener.
