Thank you for purchasing a SaxxTec product! With the following tips, we want to
assist you in connecting and operating your speakers, so that you get the best
possible result.
Read this entire manual carefully and follow all the steps that are specified for
operation. Observe and follow all warnings and safety instructions as indicated
on the product and in the instruction manual. Keep these instructions close at
hand in case of any further questions.
•
Ensure that the unit, especially standing speakers, is in a stable position to
prevent damage from a falling speaker.
•
Protect your speakers against humidity and dampness. A permanently high
humidity or exposure to sunlight (UV radiation) can cause your wooden cabinet
to swell or to age prematurely and thus affect operability. They should also not
be installed in the immediate vicinity of heat sources such as radiators.
•
High noise volume in continuous operation is not only a nuisance for your
neighbour, but can also lead to health problems for the user!
•
In case of a massive overload of the speakers due to very high volumes, burn
out of individual components or individual speakers cannot be completely ruled
out despite safety devices. In theory, an overload of this type could cause a fire
inside a speaker. Therefore, speakers that are operated to the limits should not
be left unattended.
•
Furthermore, hands, arms or other foreign objects should never be inserted into
the sound outlets (bass reflex port) in order to avoid injury or damage. Children
and pets are particularly susceptible to this.
•
Please keep the packaging in case of future transportation. Keep the plastic
bags out of the reach of children as they represent a choking hazard.
•
Improper handling of the mains voltage can be fatal! Passive speakers must
not be connected directly to the mains! The speaker terminals may only be
connected with the respective amplifier outputs. Any kind of connection from
these terminals to the mains (230V / 115V) is not permitted and would lead to
the immediate destruction of the speaker and all connected products. Therefore,
