The Vestamatic Markise Funk WS (awning radio control) features
wireless operation of the sunshade via radio control. The included
radio transmitter enables you to operate your sunshade completely
independently and according to your requirements.
In order to operate your sunhade, press the up or down button and
your sunshade is immediately retracted or extended.
Simply press the opposite button to stop the motion, i.e.:
· press the up button, if the sunshade is being retracted,
· press the down button, if the sunshade is being extended.
Further retraction or extension will only be possible after pressing the
up or down button again.
Warning: If the wind velocity exceeds the preset limit, the sun-
shade will be retracted immediately and cannot be
extended again for safety reasons.
The described operation equally applies to all radio transmitters and
operating buttons of the device in use.

Operation
If the LEDs of the hand-held transmitter no longer light up after pressing
the button or the reach of the hand-held transmitter has considerably
diminished, the battery must be exchanged. Use a 12V battery (Type
23A, 23L, EL12, VR22 or MN21).
Please perform the following steps:
· Slide down the cover cap on the front side
of the hand-held transmitter.
· Remove the used up battery from the hand-
held transmitter.
· Insert the new battery into the hand-held
transmitter (observe the +/- polarity!).
· Slide up the cover cap on the front of the
hand-held transmitter.
