Programming the radio transmitter
In order to start up the radio transmitter, it must be assigned to the
Vestamatic Markise Funk WS (awning radio control) first. Then press
the SW1 button on the left of the Vestamatic Markise Funk WS
(awning radio control); the yellow LED will start flashing slowly and
the programming mode is activated. Now also press a button of the
radio transmitter; the yellow LED will start to flash rapidly and the
pressed button of the radio transmitter is programmed. Repeat this
process for every button to be programmed.
Deleting the radio transmitter programming
If the programming of a radio transmitter is to be deleted, press the
SW2 button on the right of the Vestamatic Markise Funk WS (awning
radio control); the yellow LED will start flashing slowly and the delet-
ing mode is activated. Now also press a button of the radio transmitter;
the yellow LED will start to flash rapidly and the pressed button of the
radio transmitter is deleted. Repeat this process for every button to be
deleted.

Setting the wind velocity threshold value

The Vestamatic Markise Funk WS (awning radio control) is designed
to protect your sunshade from dangerous winds. The current wind
speed is measured continously by means of an externally mounted
wind meter and evaluated by the control unit. If the preset wind veloci-
ty threshold value is exceeded, the control unit automatically retracts
your sunshade.
Setting the wind velocity threshold value depends on the size and
type of your sunshade and should be carried out by a professional
electrician.
If the preset wind velocity threshold value is exceeded, the sunshade
is retracted immediately and cannot be extended again for safety rea-
sons. The sunshade can only be re-extended again when the wind
velocity has fallen below the set wind velocity threshold value and the
safety delay time of 16 minutes has elapsed.
The wind velocity threshold value is set with the 4 DIP switches of the
Vestamatic Markise Funk WS (awning radio control) (see page 37).
