Radio Receiver / Monitor
13 uro power plug of the power pack
14 Low-voltage plug of the power pack
This plug carries the supply voltage for the monitor.
Observe the output voltage of 13,5 V DC (!).

For setting the terrestrial TV stations
17 Slide switch for the TV band (VHF-Lo, VHF-Hi or UHF)
18 Operating switch with sound rotary controller
The monitor is turned on by turning to the right. Further turning increases the
volume.
19 Channel selection switch
You can set three different transmission channels with the slider switch. You
must set the same channel on the monitor as on the radio camera.
20 Vertical hold controller
Enables the stabilisation of a vertically running image.
21 Contrast controller

23 Audio/video output sockets
The audio and video signal is issued on these cinch sockets for connection of
additional monitors or recording devices.
24 Battery compartment on the bottom of the device
25 Pushbutton for image reversing
Serves for the proper display of the image as "backwards camera".
26 AV/TV switcher
When this switch is depressed, AV radio camera operation, when not depres-
sed, TV tuner operation.
27 Connection socket for external receiver antenna
(not part of the delivery, jack 3.5 mm mono)
28 Operating voltage socket
Connection socket for the low-voltage plug (14) of the power pack with an out-
put voltage of 13,5 V DC (!).

• Change the set channel (channel selection switch (10) and (19)) on the radio came-
ra and the receiver if transmission is distorted. Also see "Troubleshooting".
• In order to turn the devices off, proceed in reverse order.
If you do not use the system for longer periods of time, always
pull the power packs out of the wall outlet.
TV Tuner Operation
• Plug the power pack of the monitor into the wall outlet.
• Turn the monitor on (turn rotary switch 18 to the right).
• Ensure that the AV/TV switch on the back (26) is not pressed for TV operation.
• The telescope antenna of the monitor (29) is adjustable to ensure a good signal
receiving quality.
• You can select the transmission range with the slider (17).
TV band VL (VHF-Lo)
TV channel 1-4
TV band VH (VHF-Hi)
TV channel 5-12
TV band UHF
TV channel 21-69
• You set a terrestrial channel by turning the TV station adjuster (16).
• You can adjust the brightness, contrast and volume on the front of the monitor.
• Should the image "skip", you can stabilise it by turning the V-HOLD controller (20).
• Adjust the antenna on the monitor if the TV signal receipt is distorted.
In order to turn the devices off, proceed in reverse order.
Maintenance
The devices are maintenance-free, so never open them. The guarantee becomes
void when you open the appliance.
Only clean the outside of the devices with a soft, dry cloth or a brush. Prior to clea-
ning, remove the devices from all voltage sources.
