6. Important safety information

• Children under 3 should be kept away from the heater unless they are
under continuous supervision.
• Children between 3 and 8 years of age must only turn the heater on
and off when they are supervised or when they have been taught how
to use it safely and understand the safety hazards. The heater must
also be placed or mounted in its normal working position. Children
between 3 and 8 years of age must not plug in, configure, clean, or
repair the appliance.
• This appliance may be used by children over 8 years of age and
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning the safe use of
the appliance and understand the potential hazards. Children may not
clean or repair the heater unless they are supervised. Children should
always be supervised by an adult to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
• WARNING– hot surfaces. Some parts of the appliance can become
very hot and may cause burns. Exercise caution when children and
vulnerable people are present.
• WARNING – Do not cover. Never cover the product during or shortly
after use (e.g. with clothing, a sheet or a curtain), as this may cause it
to overheat and cause a fire.
• WARNING– This product is not equipped with a thermostat to
control the room temperature. Do not use this product in small rooms
occupied by people who are not capable of leaving the room on their
own (unless constant supervision is provided).
