c) Miscellaneous

• Do not use the heater in stables or farms.
• Do not use the heater in saunas.
• The product must always be grounded at the wall socket during use.
• Do not use the heater to dry clothes.
• Do not use the product for thermal storage in indoor spaces.
• Never use the appliance as a heater in a hot air system.
• The heater will remain hot for a while after it is turned off. Do not move it during this time.
• Never use the heater in cupboards or other small enclosed spaces. This constitutes a fire hazard!
• Do not move the heater by dragging the feet, as this may crack, dent or mark the floor. Lift the heater up
when you want to move it. Use a cloth or other suitable material to protect valuable surfaces.
• Never use the heater in vehicles or other moving spaces. It is only suitable for use in stationary areas.
• Do not leave the heater unattended during use.
• Only move, transport or store the heater when it has completely cooled down.
• Only use the heater in temperate climates. It is not suitable for use in tropical climates.
• Do not run cables under a carpet or cover them with throw rugs, runners, or other similar objects.
• Always lay the cables so that nobody can trip over or become entangled in them. This may cause an
injury.
• Do not place or store any flammable chemicals or substances in the vicinity of the heater. This may
generate sparks or electric arcs inside the heater.

8. Safety equipment

The heater features a safety switch that automatically switches the heater off when it is not in an upright position (e.g.
if it tips over). If the heater was not damaged, it will switch on again when it is placed in an upright position.
The frost protection feature switches the heater on automatically to prevent the temperature from dropping below
freezing.
