Transmitter with separate transducer (wall-mounted version)

The transmitter is suitable for wall-mounting.
It is attached by 2 screws.

The transmitter is calibrated ex-works together with the associated measuring cell.
NOTE
Changing the measuring cell necessitates re-calibration (as described in 8.5.5).

7.1.2.1 Installation of clamping ring version

Insert transducer in the flow fitting or welded-on ring and secure with clamping rings.
Establish the potential equalizing connection between transmitter housing (stud bolt M4)
and the piping system (e.g. clamping ring screw on transducer).

7.1.2.2 Installation of flange version

Insert transmitter with integrated transducer in the flow fitting or welded-on flange in case
of tank wall installation and secure with 4 screws.
Establish the potential equalizing connection between transmitter housing (stud bolt M4)
and the piping system (eg. flange screw on transducer).

The transverse hole in the measuring calotte must always be aligned parallel to the axis of the
pipe, i.e. in the direction of flow of the medium.
Deviations can have a distorting effect on the measured values (eddy formation). It is possible
to check the installed position by referring to the marking notches on the measuring calotte.
For practical purposes, the clearance between the transducer and transmitter should not
exeed 4.5 m.
For flange version (see Fig. 7.10):
In order to remove the transducer,
unscrew the attachment screws.
Screw two of the screws into the two
spare offset holes with internal thread at
ATTENTION
the flange connection.
The transducer can then be easily removed
from the flow fitting.
Incorrect removal of the transducer may
result in the equipment being damaged.
