Note: BKS (assembly kit)
Before the riving knife and blade guard
can be screwed in place according to
the Assembly instructions, the riving
knife must be lined up with the saw
blade and the distance from the riving
knife to the saw blade must be adjust-
ed.
To align the riving knife:
Remove the protective cover (82)
from the chip case. To do so, carry
out the following steps:
– Remove the hexagon nuts (81)
from the protective cover and
store.
– Take off the protective cover,
guide it out through the bottom
and store.

Lining the riving knife up with the
saw blade
1. Remove the four B screws (see As-
sembly instructions, step 4) on the
riving knife carrier.
2. Remove the four M screws (see
Assembly instructions, step 11) on
the riving knife support block.
3. Line the riving knife up with the saw
blade.
4. Tighten the four B screws.
5. Tighten the four M screws.
Adjusting the distance from the
riving knife to the saw blade
The distance between the saw blade's
outer edge and the riving knife shall be
between 3 and 8 mm.

The riving knife must project over the
saw table at least as far as the saw
blade does.

1. Loosen the Keps nut (83) on the riv-
ing knife carrier one full turn.
2. Adjust the distance from the riving
knife to the saw blade.
3. Adapt the riving knife height to the
saw blade.

Note:
When tightening the Keps nut make
sure the two lugs (84) on the counter-
part of the riving knife carrier are run-
ning in the tracks of the riving knife car-
rier.
4. Tighten the Keps nut.
After aligning re-install the protective
cover on the chip case.

Saw storage

A
Danger!
Store saw so that
– it cannot be started by unauthor-
ised persons and
– nobody can get injured.
A
Caution!
Do not store saw unprotected out-
doors or in damp environment.

Maintenance

Before switching ON
– Carry out a visual inspection to de-
termine whether the distance be-
tween the saw blade and the riving
knife is 3 to 8 mm.
– Carry out a visual inspection to de-
termine whether the saw blade is
lined up with the riving knife.
– Check whether the mains cable or
the mains plug is damaged; any de-
fective parts should be replaced by
a qualified electrician.
After switching OFF
Check whether the saw blade keeps
running for more than 10 seconds after
switch-off. If so, contact a certified ga-
rage!
Once a month (for daily use)
– Remove sawdust with vacuum
cleaner or brush.
– Oil the mitre fence guide.
After every 300 hours of operation
Check all screwed connections and
retighten if necessary.

10. Transport

Remove or secure add-on parts
(length stop and rip fence, sliding
carriage, table extension).
If possible, use the original card-
board box for shipping.
Hoisting by crane
For hoisting by crane use the flip-up
crane lifting eyes on the saw table.

Danger!
During hoisting by crane moving
parts such as the rip fence, ring
spanner or the like can loosen and
fall off.
Remove or secure moving and loose
add-on parts before transport.

stock.

For side or rear mounting,
table size: 1030 × 660 mm,
with foldable support legs.
