D. Initial Operation
This Chapter describes the steps required for the initial operation of the product.
The rechargeable battery in the detector should be fully recharged (Refer to
Recharging battery on this page) prior to the first time using the detector.
- The detector is then ready to operate.
E. Operation
This Chapter describes the steps needed to be taken often when using the product.
Please take time to read this Chapter. In the following Chapters, it will be assumed
that you are familiar with material dealt with here.
E.1 Recharging the battery
The rechargeable battery should only be recharged if the ambient temperature is
±0 to +45°C.
To ensure the long life of the rechargeable battery, the battery should always be
discharged and recharged again. Only use the original mains supplied.
The detector must be switched off.
1 Connect plug from recharging power unit to the recharging socket of the detector.
2 Connect power plug of recharging power unit to a power socket.
- The "Recharge monitor" LED lights up when the recharging power unit is plugged in.
Recharging starts automatically (duration: 12-14h).
3 Disconnect detector from power after 12-14h.
