Tuning

Before undertaking a measurement, make a tuning between
transmitter and receiver. This way you will get defined and
tuned results resp. indication tones.
Turn the knob VOLUME to the 10 o'clock position.
Turn the knob MODE to VLF.
Turn the knobs
SENSITIVITY to central position.
Position the searching coil approx. 30 cm above the ground
or away from a metal object and press the red initial button
PUSH. Keep the button pressed and adjust with the knob
TUNE the pointer to Zero.
While searching, you can also make a fine-tuning. Press the
button PUSH after switching on and turn the knob MODE
for defined conditions of the indicator.

Test the device indoors

You can make a first test at home or also outdoors to familiarize yourself with the
possibilities of the device.
Take off all jewellery and your watch and lay down the device to a wooden or
plastic table, the bottom side of the searching coil up (Turn the telescope bar).
Please note, as the ground at home may have metal bars (arming) you cannot
achieve correct measurements.
Turn the knob MODE to TR1.
Move a small object (from the material you
want to search afterwards) in a distance of
5 cm above the coil.
The device can only detect objects that are
moved above the coil. An object that is
hold stock-still above the coil cannot be
detected.
