9. Connecting a USB device
USB memory sticks can be connected to the USB connection. This allows music
tracks to be played from a USB memory stick. The USB connection does not support
video playback.
Furthermore you can charge batteries of USB devices with 5V/500mA.
Connect the USB device to the USB port USB.
10. General operating functions
10.1. Audio functions
NOTICE!
The description applies to audio output on the speakers. Where devic-
es with separate speakers are connected, you can of course adjust the
sound on those devices.
10.1.1. Volume
Press the V+ button on the remote control or turn the volume control on the
device clockwise to increase the volume.
Press the V– button on the remote control or turn the volume control on the de-
vice anticlockwise to decrease the volume.
10.1.2. Mute
Press the MUTE button on the remote control to turn the sound off completely.
MUTE will appear briefly on the display.
Press the MUTE button on the remote control to restore the sound output.
10.1.3. Bass/Treble
Bass and treble settings can only be made if you have previously set the equaliser to
USER (see below).
Press the button BASS/TREBLE-/ + once or several times until the display
shows that the desired value has been set.
10.1.4. Equaliser
Press the one of the buttons NORMAL, CLASS, POP, ROCK, JAZZ to select a
sound preset.
