Dear customer,
thank you for choosing one of our quality products. This ma-
nual explains the functions and operation of the device. Ple-
ase take some time to read through the instructions carefully
and make sure to follow all safety and operational directions.
Keep this manual safe and ensure that you include it when
passing the product on to a third party. If you have any ques-
tions or suggestions about this device, please contact your

1. I ntended use
The special light from the UVA tubes attracts insects such as
mosquitos or gnats, which are then killed quickly and pain-
lessly by the integrated high voltage grid. The dead insects
fall into the collection tray on the base of the device. The
collection tray can be easily removed, emptied and cleaned.
Any use other than the specified is not permitted! No liabi-
lity will be taken for any damage or consequential damages
caused by improper use and/or not following the instructions
and/or technical modifications and in consequence the war-
ranty will expire.
2. Notes on operation
Mosquitoes are nocturnal insects, they come out at dusk and
are attracted by light. In addition to light, mosquitoes are at-
tracted to human body odours. You should therefore try to
catch the mosquitoes before using the desired areas. For this
purpose, you should keep a few points in mind with regard to
the placement of the device. Hang the device in the darkest
place possible, and at a height of 1.5 – 3 meters. Close win-
dows and doors and make sure that the device is not put up
in a draughty area.
Use the device at dusk about 1 – 1.5 hours before utilising the
area. The mosquitoes will then find their way towards the
light and high-voltage grid without being distracted by smells
of humans or food. Once you use the area yourself, you can
place the lamp outside the room, so the mosquito is attrac-
ted before „entering" the area.
3. Safety instructions
• Electrical appliances, packaging materials, etc. do not be-
long in the hands of children. Children may not play with
the device.
• The device may only be used with the stated voltage.
• The device may only be used by children over eight years
and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities, or the lack of knowledge or experience, if they
are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of
the device by a person responsible for their safety and have
understood the dangers resulting out of the use.
• Keep this manual in a safe place
• This unit is suitable for indoor use only.
• The device must be protected from dampness, extreme
cold and heat. Make sure that the device has sufficient
ventilation. It may only be used indoors.
• Do not remove any stickers from this device. The sticker
may contain important safety information.
• If the device should show any signs of damage or malfunc-
tion, do not use it. Before touching it, first disconnect the
fuse in the central fuse box and then pull the device out of
the socket.
• Make sure that the cables do not become a hazard. Make
sure that the cables cannot become squashed or submit-
ted to sharp edges or be damaged in any way. Make sure
that the cable does not become a tripping hazard.
• Do not put any objects filled with liquid, such as buckets,
vases or plants, in the immediate vicinity of the product
or the power supply. Liquid could enter into the housing
interior. This could not only cause damage to the device,
but could also result in a fire hazard.
• Do not put any ignition sources, such as lit candles, on the
device or power supply or in the vicinity of these objects.
• Never put fingers or other objects into the device.
Attention! Do not use the product in places with
flammable materials or explosive gases and dust
such as barns or stables.
