3.1 Connection to pipeline

Formation of air bubbles in the meter results in incorrect measurements
• Do not install the meter at the highest point in the pipeline.
• During operation, the pipeline must always be fully filled.

• When installing the meter, ensure that the meter is not subjected to any
pressure shocks within the pipeline.

NOTE
For a smooth installation, comply with the following measures:
• Do not abruptly reduce/increase the pipeline cross-section before and
after the meter.
• No inlet and outlet sections required (U0D0).
• Changes in the cross-section should be concentric at an angle of <8°.
• Use thread seals such as sealing compound suitable for potable water,
hemp or teflon.
• Install flow regulators after the meter in the flow direction.
