2. Usage
Bio Moisture Wood measures the
moisture content of firewood, wood pellets
and other wood materials. To make a
measurement take the necessary amount
of samples using a chain saw.
The meter can measure the moisture
content of usual sawdust as well.
The meter shows the moisture content of
the material in weight percent.
The measurement range is:
15 – 65 % for sawdust (taken with a motor
chain saw)
4 – 23% for wood pellets
6 – 30% for usual sawdust
Method of moisture content definition is
based on the technical specification CEN/
TS 14774-1:2004 which is used in the
European Union.
