9. Tools menu – functions
Once you are in the tools menu (see section 8), you can use the tools described below. Use the up/down arrow sym-
bols to toggle between the various tool fi elds. You can exit the tools menu at any time using the MENU button.
NB! Functions marked with * indicate mean that the symbol for the function is displayed on the control panel
even if the circuit board for that option is not installed!

1. Arrow symbols
Use the up/down arrow symbols to toggle
between the various tool fi elds. You can exit
the tools menu at any time using the MENU
button.
2. Clock
The clock must be set if automatic tempera-
ture change or automatic start is to be used.
If 12 V power is lost, the clock will stop and
will no longer be displayed. Installing battery
backup will prevent this happening.
3. Automatic boiler start
This function is used to start the boiler auto-
matically at a later time. On automatic start,
the boiler operates for 24 hours and then
stops. After that, automatic start is repeated
at the same time and on the same day each
week for as long as the function is activated.
For automatic start to function, the On/Off but-
ton must be in the OFF position.
4. Automatic temperature change
This function is used when you want to set
automatic temperature change during the
night, for instance, (each day – "All") or to
reduce the temperature for a few days.
5. Language
Lan
This function is used to reset the screen
between different languages. The languages
available are: English, French and German.
However, the service menu is only available in
English (see section 10).

6. Brightness
Brightness: The brightness of the display
(working mode) can be adjusted from 1 to 10.
The factory setting is 5. Standby brightness:
Off: Used to turn the display's backlighting
off so that the display is turned off (becomes
dark) in standby mode (the LED is still active).
On: Used to activate the backlighting in the
display (low lighting) in standby mode (the
LED is still active). The factory setting is On.
7. Button sound
With this function you can switch the button
sound on or off. The factory setting for button
sound is On.
8. Pump settings
1. Pump operation:
Cont: With this function selected the pump is
permanently on. (NB. This function limits the
supply of hot water, particularly when there is
a low heating requirement)
Therm: With this function selected the pump
is controlled by the panel/room sensor. This
is the normal operating mode for heating the
vehicle and obtaining a normal supply of hot
water. The factory setting is Therm.
2: *Pump Auto/pump 2:
Auto: In this mode, the pump fi tted to the
boiler (12 V or 230 V) operates and, if 230 V is
disconnected, pump 2 is also activated. This is
in case an additional 12 V pump is connected
(e.g. in the tank) and a 230 V pump is fi tted to
the boiler.
Pump 2: In Pump 2 mode, the pump which is
connected to its socket operates regardless.
3: *Pump 1 speed
The capacity of the circulation pump can be
controlled from the panel in fi ve steps. NB! A
pump with this control must be installed if
this function is to be used (see the manual
for the vehicle, boat or building).
