Intended Operation

The power mains voltage must correspond to the operating
voltage on the type.
The double grinder is designed for dry grinding only.
The two vitrified bonded grinding wheels are suitable for
grinding metal and hard metal.

Grinding

1. The grinder is equipped with a fine and a coarse grinding wheel.
2. Turn the unit on with the ON/OFF switch. Both wheels are simultaneously
driven by the motor. The lamp is turned on together with the motor.
3. When using the unit for the first time, operate it for 5 minutes without load.
4. Always rest the work piece on the work piece support during work. Without
the support you might loose control of the work piece and it may even be
thrown from your hand.
5. Do not hold the work piece against the wheel in a sharp angle against the
rotating direction of the wheel. A kickback may result.
6. The work piece may become very hot during machining. This may lead to
a change in the material properties of the work piece. Therefore, allow the
work piece to cool down during machining.

Trueing the Grinding Wheels

After extended use, the performance of
the wheels may deteriorate or the
grinding surfaces may become untrue.
With the conditioner you can true the
grinding wheels.
1. Turn on the grinder and hold the
conditioner against the grinding
wheel as shown.
2. Check in short intervals whether the surface is satisfactory or the process
must be continued.
