Compatibility mode
Activating the compatibility mode of matrix switches belonging to the Control-
Center-Compact series is required only if you want to integrate a matrix switch of the
DVICenter series, whose ports are operated in compatibility mode, into the cascade.
NOTE:
For matrix switches of the DVICenter series, the compatibility mode has
been automatically activated after an update to firmware version 1.4 or later if the
default port assignments had been manually changed to the
to the update.
ADVICE:
Update the firmware version of all matrix switches belonging to a cas-
cade to the latest version. Now deactivate the
switches.
