Use

The degree of brownness depends strongly on the type, freshness, and
composition of the bread and rolls used. An increased protein, sugar or calcium
content, for example, leads to stronger browning, whilst fats and preservatives
reduce it. According to your personal taste and the type of baked goods, you
should fi rst start with a short roasting time (level 1-3) and extend it step by step
until you reached your optimum degree of browning.
CAUTION!
Before using the device, make sure the crumb tray is inserted completely.
The maximum roasting time (level 6) is intended only for dark types of bread! In the
case of a piece of conventional wheat toast, for example, burning and the develop-
ment of smoke may result. In this case, interrupt the roasting process immediately
by pressing the Off button (0).
5. Turn over the bread or roll and repeat the roasting process.
6. At the end of the second roasting process, remove the bread or roll carefully from
the grill. In the process, do not touch the hot metal parts of the device! There
is a danger of burns!
1. Lay the bread or roll to be roasted on the grill.

3. Press the On button (I). A brief signal tone sounds and the

control lamp (A) lights up. The device starts to heat up.
4. When the set time is up, a long signal tone sounds. The
control lamp extinguishes and the device switches off.
To switch off the device manually, you can also press the
Off button (0) at any time. In the process, a long signal
tone sounds and the control lamp extinguishes.
