Because water can trigger unwanted reactions when it comes in contact with cold
oil as you are frying, we must advise you to follow the safety precautions below:

Recognising the signs:
 You can see if there is water in the oil because there will be large bubbles at
the bottom of the container. You must change the oil!
 HOW TO USE YOUR DEEP FAT FRYER
o
outside:

Do not leave your deep fat fryer outside either before or after using it (risk of
rain)
o
inside:

After cleaning/rinsing out your deep fat fryer make sure it is completely dry

Only slot the basket containing the food into its mounts when the oil has
reached the right temperature. (see instruction manual "Frozen Food")
 PREPARATION
o
Remove all the plastic films and packaging.
o
Wash the frying basket (8) and the oil container (5) with soap and hot water and
then dry them both thoroughly.
o
Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth.
 USING THE APPLIANCE
o
Caution: Never turn the appliance on when there is no oil in the container.
1. Press the release button (11) to open the lid.
2. Lift the handle (10) of the frying basket (8) upwards until you can hear it click into
place and then take the basket out of the deep fat fryer.
3. Now fill the container (5) with approx. 2 - 2.5 litres of oil. The MAX level mark must
not be exceeded, otherwise the oil can overflow when it is heated up. The oil must
also not fall below the MIN mark.
4. Connect the appliance to the mains. The red power light (14) lights up. Turn the
thermostat knob (12) to the temperature you want. The green operating light (15)
lights up. As soon as the set temperature has been reached, the green light (15)
turns off again.
5. Only now can you slot the basket containing the food back into its mounts.
6. Close the lid and let the basket sink into the hot oil by pressing the release button
(9) for the handle.
