Before Putting into Operation
Charging Batteries (see figure
The battery charger supplied is matched to the Li-ion battery installed in the
machine. Do not use another battery charger.
The Li-ion battery is protected against deep discharging. When the battery
is empty, the machine is switched off by means of a protective circuit: The
tool holder no longer rotates and a slight whistling sound can be heard.
Caution: If the On/Off switch is subject to continued use, the Li-ion battery
can be damaged.
When the battery charge display 4 lights up red while the On/Off switch 7 is
depressed half way, then the battery has less than 30% of its capacity and
should be charged.
The charging procedure starts as soon as the mains plug of the battery
charger 10 is inserted into the socket and the cordless screwdriver is after-
wards placed on the battery charger.
The battery charge display 4 lights up green to indicate the charging proce-
dure. The battery is fully charged as soon as the battery charge display 4 is
no longer lit.
During the charging procedure, the handle of the machine warms up. This is
normal.
When not using for extended periods, disconnect the battery charger from
the socket.
Protect the charger from moisture!
Observe the notes on environmental protection.
Fastening the Battery Charger (see figure
The battery charger 10 can be mounted against a wall. For this, hang the slot
openings on the side onto two screws.
Up to 13 screwdriver bits can be stored on the side of the battery charger 10.
The holder for the screwdriver bits can be removed.
Changing the Tool (see figure
Insert the screwdriver bit directly into the hexagon collet.
Do not use double-sided screwdriver bits that are longer than 25 mm.
