BEFORE FIRST USE

Remove the device and its packaging carefully from the packaging and check the contents for
completion and damages.

BATTERY OPERATION

1. Open the battery compartment at the back of
the device.
2. Insert four Type AA/UM-3 batteries. (Fig.1).
3. Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-)
according to the imprint.
4. Close the battery compartment. Make sure
that the lid locks in correctly.
5. Remove the batteries from the battery
compartment if you are not going to use this
device for a longer period of time.
Attention!
• Do not use this device in power operation and battery operation simultaneously.
• Remove all of the batteries when operating this device with the power cord.

POWER OPERATION

1. Connect the power cord with the AC~ jack to
the back of the device (Fig. 2).
2. Make sure that the mains voltage
corresponds to the specifications on the
nameplate of the device. Only then can the
plug be inserted into the power outlet.
3. In order to completely separate the device
from the mains, pull the plug from the power
outlet.
