BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove the device and its packaging carefully from the packaging and check the contents for
completion and damages.
BATTERY OPERATION
1. Open the battery compartment at the back of the device.
2. Insert four Type AA/UM-3 batteries.
3. Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-) according to the imprint.
4. Close the battery compartment. Make sure that the lid locks in correctly.
5. Remove the batteries from the battery compartment if you are not going to use this device for a
longer period of time.
6. Remove all of the batteries when operating this device with the power cord.
Attention! Do not use this device in power operation and battery operation simultaneously.
POWER OPERATION
1. Connect the power cord with the AC~ jack to the back of the device.

OPERATION
Setting the volume
1. Set the desired volume by turning the VOLUME controller on the device.
2. To lessen the volume turn the controller in an anticlockwise direction.
3. To increase the volume turn the controller in a clockwise direction.
4. Warning! Extremely high volume can lead to hearing damage due to excessive acoustic pressure.
