Installation
1. Remove the LED-strip from the packaging. The LED-strip may only
be used outside of the package.
2. Clean the area to which the LED-strip is to be attached. These areas
must be sufficiently even, clean and free from grease to ensure
optimum adhesion of the LED-strip.
NOTICE
Follow the safety instructions found in chapter "Cleaning".
3. Insert batteries into the battery compartment to check the function
of the LED-strip. Slide the ON/OFF-switch to „ON".
4. Now check the LED-strip for proper functioning. Already processed
or cut strips are excluded from reclamation, conversion or
redemption! LED strips are – like all illuminants – consumable
articles. In case of correct operation you can proceed with point 5.
5. Pull off the adhesive foil from the backside of the LED-strip.
6. The LED-strip may only be shortened and not extended.
7. The LED-strip may be shortened at the marked spots. Therefore you
have to cut the Strip with scissors at the broken lines as seen in Fig. 1.
Fig. 1
NOTICE
Please note that when shortening the LED-strip, it is no longer protected
from dust or water at this point. Close it again, e.g. with neutral silicone, to
restore the original protection.
Application
To turn on the LED-strip, slide the switch located at the strip to position
„ON". To turn it off, slide the switch to position „OFF".
