Mit den folgenden Tipps möchten wir Ihnen bei Anschluss und Betrieb Ihres aktiven Subwoofers behilflich sein, damit Sie das bestmögliche Ergebnis erzielen. Sicherheitshinweise Lesen Sie die vorliegende Bedienungsanleitung bitte sorgfältig und befolgen Sie alle Schritte die für die Inbetriebnahme angegeben sind. - Seite 4 und eventuell vorhandene Belüftungsöffnungen dürfen nicht durch Zeitungen, Tischdecken, Vorhänge oder ähnliches verdeckt werden. • Weiterhin sollten keinesfalls Hände, Arme oder sonstige Fremdkörper in die Schallaustrittsöffnungen (Bassreflexöffnung) gesteckt werden, um Verletzungen oder Schäden zu vermeiden. Aufstellung Die Basswiedergabe eines Subwoofers hängt entscheidend von seiner Position im Hörraum ab: Steht er in der Nähe von Wänden oder gar in einer Raumecke, wirken die Bässe weitaus lauter, aber auch unpräziser als bei freier Platzierung im Raum. Den optimalen Kompromiss zwischen Basslautstärke und -präzision finden Sie nur durch ausprobieren, denn diesbezüglich verhält sich jeder Raum unterschiedlich. -

Anschluss Bitte schließen Sie das Gerät mit dem beiliegenden Netzkabel an der nachstehend abgebildeten Netzbuchse an. Bevor Sie den Subwoofer an Ihre HiFi- oder Surround- Anlage anschließen, achten Sie bitte darauf, dass er ausgeschaltet ist, bzw. dass die Betriebskontrollanzeige nicht leuchtet. 1. - Seite 7 2. LFE-Out Surround- Verstärker Bei der Verwendung dieser Anschlussvariante wird die Frequenzweiche im Sub- wooferverstärker umgangen. Das Bassmanagement muss von der zuspielenden Heimkino-Quelle übernommen werden. 4. USB-Anschluss Der bei einigen Modellen vorhandene USB-Anschluss dient ausschließlich der Spannungsversorgung von externen Geräten (z. B. zur drahtlosen Übertragung von Audiosignalen zum Subwoofer). - Seite 9 Gegebenenfalls muss der VOLUME-Regler nach dem Verstellen des FREQUENCY- Reglers nachjustiert werden, um wieder eine tonale Balance zu erreichen. Durch die Überlagerung der Schallwellen Ihrer Satelliten und denen des Subwoofers, kann es an Ihrer Hörposition zu Interferenzen kommen, die im ungünstigen Fall bewirken, dass Sie trotz einer korrekten Einstellung von FREQUENCY und VOLUME nur einen verhaltenen Bass wahrnehmen.

Betrieb des Subwoofers am Sub-Out eines Surround-Verstärkers Falls Ihr Surround-Verstärker Ihnen die Möglichkeit bietet, die Lautstärke des Sub- woofers über das Bassmanagement zu regeln, verfahren Sie bitte wie folgt: Stellen Sie den VOLUME-Regler am Subwoofer in Mittelstellung und den FREQUENCY- Regler in Stellung Maximum. -

Installation The bass output of a subwoofer depends crucially on its position in the room: If it is placed close to walls or even in a corner, the bass will seem much louder, but also less precise than if placed away from walls in the room.
