mode. The charging process will start
automatically and the charge indicator (Fig. 4.2)
will light up in red during charging.
2. Once the batteries are fully charged, the
charging process is automatically concluded and
the LED on the charge indicator (Fig. 4.2) will
switch back to green.
3. Disconnect both SmartPacks from the charger.
4. After the charger has been charged and
unplugged from the SmartPacks, they are
automatically in the mode which was configured
before the charging process was begun. If the
SmartPacks are not turned off after charging,
they only switch to POWER-OFF mode
automatically after 24h. To conserve the full
charging capacity, we therefore recommend
turning off the SmartPacks at the end of the
charging process.
Important note:
 Recharge the SmartPacks after each use. This
extends the service life of the batteries and
ensures that the device is always ready for use.
 The battery consists of lithium ion cells and can
be charged in any state. For this reason, the
battery does not need to be fully discharged
before charging.
 The SmartPack can be in any operating mode
when the charging process is started. (POWER
OFF, STANDBY, IN USE)
 The full charging capacity of the SmartPacks can
only be conserved if the SmartPacks are
disconnected from the charger at the end of the
charging process.
