General notes
Area of use
The filters in the Maximum product range are designed for cleaning lightly soiled
rainwater, e.g. before systems for rain water use or seepage.
They have no height offset and are therefore suitable, amongst other things, for the
subsequent installation in existing pipes.
The filter efficiency is 100%
The filter to be selected depends on the maximum quantity of the inflowing rain water,
the composition of its soiling and the requirements for the downstream components (rain
water usage, seepage, etc.).
Function
The main principle of cleaning consists of gravity separation: particles with a greater
density than rain water (e.g. sand grains with organic adhesion) deposit downwards and
particles with a smaller density (e.g. organic particles with adhesive bubbles) upwards.
These depositing processes take place during the flowing through the filter and are
supported by the equipment within the filters, see pages 7 to 9.
Connections
With larger connection surfaces, for the maximum rain outlet to be expected,
corresponding pipeline sections must be used. Notes on this can be found in DIN 1986-
100 or on our information hotline 040 769 164 36.
Installation
The installation must take place in accordance with the technical documentation for the
BlueLine2 tank series (item number DORW2046a)
Operation and maintenance
The deposits must be removed periodically, this will vary depending on the type and
quanitity of particles/debris at any specific location.
