product, and contain important information and safety
notes. Please store them safely, where you can access
them at any time. If you ever dispose of the product, be

PPLICATION METHOD OF WORKING
The PROFImc 3010 and 3030 series of transmitters can be expanded to
13 fully proportional channels, and the PROFImc 4000 to 16 fully propor-
tional channels, if the HFM3 M-LINK 2.4 GHz module is used.
Once the PROFImc 3000/4000 13/16 channel expansion has been
installed, up to four additional transmitter controls can be connected.
These include 2-position and 3-position switches, and proportional rotary
controls.
With the expansion unit fitted, the PROFImc 3010 / 3030 features
channels 1 to 9 and supplementary channels 10 – 13; the PROFImc 4000
offers channels 1 – 12 and the supplementary channels 13 – 16.
Important: the four expansion channels are dynamically "attached" to the
PPM signal, and therefore have no fixed channel assignment. This means
that the supplementary channels are generated with different channel
numbers according to the various PPM modes: PPM 7 -> channels 8 – 11,
PPM 9 -> channels 10 - 13, and PPM 12 -> channels 13 - 16.
Please note, however, that the four supplementary channels cannot be
configured or adjusted using the transmitter software.

(*) When installing the rotary control, you must ensure that the
housing is insulated from the transmitter's support plate. If you are
unsure, fit a paper insulating layer.

NSTALLATION
3.1. Open the transmitter case
Switch the transmitter OFF before opening it (short-circuit
hazard)!
1. Hold the transmitter in both hands as shown, and use your thumbs to
press in the buttons on the top of the case:
3.2. Withdraw the transmitter battery connector
3.3. Remove the installed 2.4 GHz RF module
1. Lay the transmitter face-down on a soft surface, taking care to avoid
damage to the sticks and switches.
2. Locate the HFM3 M-LINK 2.4 GHz RF module installed in the
transmitter, grasp it with thumb and index finger, then carefully and
evenly pull it out:

3.4. Remove the aerial support plate
1. Remove all four screws which fix the aerial support plate to the top of
the transmitter case (note: the screws are required again later).
2. Lift the aerial support plate out and forward as shown.
3.5. Install the Profi 3000/4000 13/16 channel expansion
1. The Profi 3000/4000 13/16 channel expansion is designed to be
fitted in either of the two positions directly adjacent to the RF module
well.
2. First route the 7-core JST lead between the circuit boards and into the
area behind the aerial support plate, then on through the opening in
the RF module well.
