The Heating Unit must be mounted in a horiz
Water circuit (min. ½", max. ¾") has to be installed according to the following sequence:
( 3) Install non-return valve
(18) Install water filter
( 7) Install automatic vent valve: it must be at the highest point of circuit in a
frost-protected-room (black knurled screw has to be in open position!)
( 6) Install pressure relief valve
(16) Install SUEVIA Drinking Bowls into the circuit (connected at the top and the bottom)
( 9) Install relief valve
(11) Install shut-off valve (for the main and the bypass-management)
(12) Install manual ventilation valve
(17) Install Flow control Mod. 309
(15) Mount non-return flap.
(19) Mount heating cable in the most frosty areas.
(13) Insulate pipes: minimum thickness 30 mm, heat conductivity
(14) Mount bite protection
(10) I nstall residual-current protective device.
System must be used with a separate 30 mA residual-current protective device (RCD)
Unit location:
Installation must be in a dry, frost- and draught-protected room and at an accessible height.
Pipe insulation:
IMPORTANT! Insulation of complete pipe system is indispensible,
-> minimum thickness 30 mm, heat conductivity
Water line has to be insulated against condensation of water and heat loss.
Water connection:
Water entrance ¾", circuit piping min. ½", max. ¾",
Water pressure has to be between min. 1 bar (14 psi) - max. 4 bar (58 psi)!
If water pressure is lower than recommended, install a pressure intensifier.
If water pressure is higher than recommended, install a pressure reducer valve.
Circuit length :
Length of the insulated water tube system incl. all return pipes should not exceed 200 m (
Circulation pump :
Circulation pump must run on positon 3.
Circulation pump has to be bled (see page 23).
The height difference between entry and return pipeline should not exceed 5 meters.
Functioning capability of Circulation pump has to be constantly checked!
Main Control Switch Position:
0 = OFF Circulation Pump and Heating are out of service
1 = ON Circulation Pump runs constantly, heating switches on automatically
Application field:
SUEVIA Heating Unit Mod. 303 / Mod. 300 is exclusively designed to keep water pipes
frost-free in stables for animals. It can only be used for warming up water, other liquids are

Installation

Install it only horizontally. Pay attention to the water flow direction!
