Press SEL key to ZERO the display reading.

Clamp the current transducer (jaw) around one of the conductors under test. Make sure that the clamp
jaw be perfectly closed.

Read the display value.
DC voltage measurement
Maximum input voltage of DC V range is 600 V DC. Do not attempt to take any voltage measurement
that exceeds 600 V DC to avoid electrical shock and/or damage to the instrument.

Set function switch to the V range.

Press SEL key to select DC function.
-
Connect the black and red test leads to the COM and INPUT terminals respectively.

Connect the test leads to the circuit being measured and read the displayed value.
AC voltage measurement
Maximum input voltage of AC V range is 600 V DC. Do not attempt to take any voltage measurement
that exceeds 600 V RMS to avoid electrical shock and/or damage to the instrument.

Set function switch to the V range.

Press SEL key to select AC function.

Connect the black and red test leads to the COM and INPUT terminals respectively.

Connect the test leads to the circuit being measured and read the displayed value.
Resistance Measurement
Before taking any in-circuit resistance measurement, remove power from the circuit being tested and
discharge all capacitors.

Set the function switch to Ω range.
-
Connect the black and red test leads to the COM and INPUT terminals respectively.

Connect the test leads to the circuit being measured and read the displayed value.
Continuity and Diode measurement
Before taking any continuity or Diode measurement, remove power from the circuit being tested and
discharge all capacitors.

Set the function switch to Ω range.

Press SEL key to switch between Ω c ontinuity and Diode test.

Connect the black and red test leads to the COM and INPUT terminals respectively.

Connect the test leads to the circuit being measured.
-
When the test lead to the circuit is below 50 Ω, it will be indicated by a continuous beeping.

Note: Continuity test is available to check open/short of the circuit.
Using this appliance in an environment with a strong radiated radio-frequency electromagnetic field
(approximately 3 V/m), may influence its measuring result can be strongly deviating from the actual
value.
Capacitance measurement

Set function switch to capacitance measurement
-
Connect the capacitance under test to the test leads connected to the input jacks
-
Read value in the display.
