Bevel cut
To adjust the cutting angle, the screws in the depression of the base
plate must be loosened. Then pull back the base plate (7) a little so
the slot ring is pulled from the locking spike. Now adjust the base
plate to the desired angle according to the cutting angle scale. The
cutting angle can be adjusted to the left or right to 0° , 15° , 30° and
45° . Push back the base plate to the front so the respective slot
locks back in place with the spike, then refasten the screws.
Check the set cutting angle by sawing a test piece first.
• Parallel cut
You can produce parallel cuts along a pre-drawn line. With the aid of
a rip fence, it is particularly easy to perform a parallel cut.
• Circular cut
Circular cuts can be produced along a pre-drawn circle. Using a
curve cutter (not included) makes circular cuts particularly easy.
When sawing narrow curves, use narrow saw blades for best results.
• Cutting metal
For cutting metal, use a suitable coolant for lubrication and adjust
your feed rate. Cooling fluids can be purchased in home
improvement stores and specialized dealerships. Always consult a
qualified salesperson on proper use.
