Use

• Always follow the safety regulations and local ordinances.
• All workpieces must be properly affixed. Nails, screws, and other
objects that could damage the saw blade must be removed. Do not
use the device for sawing asbestos. The dust particles released can
pose a health hazard.
• Check whether there is enough room for the saw blade beneath the
workpiece. Do not saw through pieces that are thicker than the
maximum sawing capacity.
• Use only saw blades free of defects. Blunt, bent, or chipped saw
blades must be replaced immediately. Only turn on the machine with
a saw blade inserted.
• When working with the machine, always set the protective cover (4)
to the lowest position.
• Before turning on the saw make sure the saw blade does not touch
the workpiece. Always approach the workpiece with the saw turned
on.
• Always move the device smoothly and steadily and do not apply
lateral pressure to the saw blade.
• Make sure the base plate (7) is placed entirely on the workpiece.
• Remove the saw blade from the workpiece only once the device has
come to a complete standstill. Do not slow down the saw blade by
pushing at it from the side.
• Do not touch the saw blade immediately after sawing, it can be
extremely hot and cause burns.
• Mind the rebound hazard. Only put the machine down once it has
come to a standstill.
• The device must not be damp or wet, nor may it be used in a damp or
wet environment.
