2.) Switching on and off (Fig. 2)
• Operate the on/off switch (3) to turn on the electric tool. To turn off
the tool, release the on/off switch.
3.) Continuous operation (Fig. 2)
• For continuous operation, push the on/off switch and the lock button
at the same time.
• End continuous operation by briefly pulling and releasing the on/off
switch.
• Before putting down the machine, release the lock so as to avoid an
inadvertent start up the next time the machine is used.
• Before plugging the machine back to the mains, make sure the lock
is released.
4.) Turning on the laser (Fig. 2)
The jigsaw is equipped with a laser device that considerably simplifies
the process of guiding the saw along a marker, or even rendering a
continuous marking of the cutting line unnecessary.
• As soon as the jigsaw is plugged into the mains, the laser can be
turned on or off using the switch (12) underneath the bend protection
of the power cable.
• The laser device is supplied with power through the power cable and
does not need batteries.
• The laser device projects a beam of light on the workpiece in the
direction of the cutting line.
• The laser should be turned off when not in use.
