• Do not use the jigsaw for sawing tubes.
• Always unplug the power before inserting saw blades or doing other
maintenance and cleaning jobs on the jigsaw.
• Always connect a vacuum cleaner to the enclosed adapter.
• During prolonged woodwork causing dusts that pose a health risk,
the electric tool must be connected to a proper external exhaust unit.
• Before sawing wood, make sure no metal parts (nails, screws, etc.)
are located in the cutting line. If there are it is imperative they be
removed first.
• Use screw clamps or similar clutching tools for bracing the
workpiece. That way, it is secured more safely than by your hand.
• Take precautions to make sure cut off parts are not spun off and that
the saw blade cannot become wedged in the workpiece.
• Make sure the jigsaw is turned off before connecting it to the mains.
• Do not saw any workpieces whose thickness exceeds the specified
maximum cutting depth.
• Before sawing, make sure there is enough room under the workpiece
for the saw blade.
• Do not touch movable parts with your hand.
• Before sawing make sure the transparent protective cover is mounted
to the saw and locked in its lower position.
• Remove chips and splinters only while the machine is not running.
• Put the saw down only once the blade has come to a complete stop.
• Avoid touching the saw blade or the workpiece immediately after
operation in order to avoid burning injuries.
• Keep the power cable away from the machine's range of operation at
all times. Always have the cable lead away from the machine towards
the back.
