Preparation and setting up

Vacuum cleaner connection (Fig. 4)
The jigsaw is supplied with an adapter for the vacuum cleaner
connection.
• Plug the adapter into the designated vent of the machine casing as
far as it will go.
• Connect a vacuum cleaner to the jigsaw whenever you use it.

Description of Controls

1) Inserting the saw blade, tool change
• Always unplug the power before changing the saw blade!
• Use only sharp and undamaged saw blades. Chipped or twisted saw
blades must not be used.
• Set the orbital cut setting switch (8) to pos. III.
• To insert the blade, unscrew all the screws by the saw blade mount
with the included Allen key (9).
• Insert the saw blade into the fitting as far as it will go with the serrated
side facing forward. Make sure the saw blade is correctly positioned
inside the slot of the pin roller.
• Refasten the screws, fastening the saw blade.
• Use only all-purpose saw blades with the following shank:
• After making a few cuts, unplug the saw and check again whether the
saw blade is properly fastened.
