The lithium ion battery is protected against deep discharging by the "Elec-
tronic Cell Protection (ECP)". When the battery is empty, the cordless
worklight is switched off by means of a protective circuit.
 Do not continue to press the On/Off switch after the cordless
worklight has been automatically switched off. The battery can be
damaged.
When the battery charge-control indicator 3 lights up red, the battery ca-
pacity is below 30 % and the battery should be charged.
Insert the plug connector 7 of the charger into socket 4 on the side of the
cordless worklight.
 Observe the mains voltage! The voltage of the power supply must
correspond with the data given on the nameplate of the battery charg-
er. Battery chargers marked with 230 V can also be operated with
220 V.
When the cordless worklight is switched off, the charging procedure be-
gins as soon as the mains plug of the charger is plugged into the power
socket.
The battery charge-control indicator 3 indicates the charging progress.
During the charging process, the indicator flashes green. When the bat-
tery charge-control indicator 3 lights up green continuously, the battery
is fully charged.
When not using the battery charger, disconnect it from the mains supply
in order to save energy.
Observe the notes for disposal.

Initial Operation

Switching On and Off
To switch on the cordless worklight, press the On/Off switch 2 upward
without force.
To switch off the cordless worklight, press the On/Off switch 2 down-
ward without force.
To save energy, only switch the cordless worklight on when using it.
